Everett Collins - Percussion
Everett Collins is one of the founding members of the Music Makers staff. Everett holds a Masters Degrees from Long Island University and a bachelors degree from CW Post College as well as having earned his Professional Certificate from the Audio Institute of Technology. In addition to Music Makers, Everett is quite busy as a music teacher in the James City County school system. He has worked extensively as a percussionist, arranger, vocalist, and keyboardist most notably with the Isley Brothers. Everett is a member of MENC, AFM, NARAS, Gospel Music Association, AFTRA, ASCAP, VBODA and NAMM. He has published several gospel works under his Deep Faith Music publishing company. Everett Collins is the Director of Music at Music Makers School of Music.
Paul Comeau
Paul joined Music Makers in 2008 as a partner. He comes from Detroit, Michigan (The "Motor City")! Paul has extensive experience on the bass and guitar and has performed in bands throughout the Michigan area. Paul also currently works as an I.T. Specialist.
Janet Harney - Clarinet, Saxophone and Voice
Janet Harney is a multi-talented musician playing the Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Piano and is also a talented vocalist. She holds her Bachelor of Music Education from James Madison University. While her degree is in vocal music education, she has had extensive experience as an instrumentalist as well. She has taught privately on Saxophone, Clarinet and Voice as well as teaching both vocal, instrumental and general (elementary) music in public and private school settings. Mrs. Harney has worked performing as both a vocalist and instrumentalist in the Tidewater area for over 20 years including several seasons at Busch Gardens, the Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra and various other performing opportunities. Janet has recently started a music program called Musiquest, Jr. for young children. In her program she teaches music to children from age three through third grade.
Sherman Jones - Percussion
Sherman holds his professional certification from the Drummers Collective in New York City. He has taught privately for five years locally in W.J.C.C., York County, and Newport News Public Schools. Sherman has professionally toured with gospel recording artist Kim Burrell and R & B recording artist Avant. He has also toured with Prosidy 2008 on the East Coast Tour 2007-2008.

Alexis Collins - Clarinet and Saxophone
Alexis holds her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Shaw University in North Carolina and Christopher Newport University. She has taught as Williamsburg Christian Academy as band director and has taught music in Newport News and York County Public Schools. She has also toured with Prosidy 2008 on the East Coast Tour 2007-2008.

Steve Hall - Piano & Jazz Theory
Steve has been
working as a soloist and with groups since his high school
days in Newport News. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in music in piano performance from Hampton
University. Since graduating, Steve has performed with many
groups including touring show bands and local bands. As a
soloist, Steve has worked for Carnival Cruise Lines as well
as many years in local restaurants such as The
Williamsburg Inn, The Williamsburg Lodge, Fort
Magruder Inn and as a fixture in the Bray Dining Room at
Kingsmill.

Keva Kennedy- Percussion
Keva Kennedy is a very talented percussionist. Keva attended the Berklee College of Music and Five Towns College. After spending much time in Long Island, New York teaching and performing, Keva relocated to the Williamsburg area and currently performs and teaches in the area.
